My opinion is, why not get them? The tankers, doubles and triples endorsement are free, and most companies want you to have hazmat which cost extra due to the finger printing. If you're going to get them do it before you get your license. I don't know about the twic card unless you're going in and out of ports all the time.

Most definately get ALL endorsements... would you rather have a car with no options or ALL options? trucking companies are the same way, they want a driver with ALL options (endorsements)

Endorsements are not always free. In Michigan there is a charge for each one. However that charge is cheaper if you get them when you get your license instead of adding it on later. I strongly suggest getting any and every endorsement you can as it makes you a more attractive prospect. In this job market you need any advantage you can get.

Endorsements are good to have but i like to point out if you get haz-mate your alowed point count in lowerd a haz-mate can work againts you if your not needing or using it. i learnd that the hard way almost lost my lic. becose tomant tickets i had just anofe time to remove it from my lic. so no suspencing action was taken if i keep it on i would of had my lic. suspended for a year. this was in the state of ca. ck yr state

Do NOT waste your money or time on acquiring a twic unless there is actually a NEED.
The twic is simply another glorified IDENTITY CARD and nothing further as it contains NO OTHER INFORMATION than of what is already on ones CDL-A. It is a ripoff and just more government control and subjugation.
Having ALL ENDORSEMENTS is great yet useless if they are not utilized.
WHY have a Tanker endorsement when pulling Dry Van, Flatbed or Reefer?
WHY have Doubles or Triples when not to be used?
WHY have an X endorsement when not pulling Tankers?

It's YOUR MONEY, spend it how YOU see fit!!

I'm soon getting rid of the Haz-Mat endorsement since I don't need to and refuse to haul haz-mat since there is NO ADDITIONAL PAY ever offered.
I hope the BEst uv WELLness 2-u-n-urs-n ALL adventures!!
I hope you comprehend what I'm posting because sometimes I wonder......or wander.

When getting your endorsements means your basically marketing yourself. Either to your employer or future employer[s].

You probably don't get more pay but get additional miles. Which equals to more pay at the end.
