Oh crap 759/yr .... *holds his heart* Damn son that is freaking high..

I was told it 250/yr but again not sure who too go with when taxes comes around. As for the meal deductions, yes I know it is 52-59 per day your out on the road. I have spoken with someone about my taxes and from she told me I have a bit more then I needed. Meaning I have my monthly expensive, mile NOT being paid [we get paid from zip code too zip code, not actual miles], I have an extra calendar that states the actual time I am home and the time I sit.

I am home again today but will need to leave out at 3am Monday to do my run. I am under a load and they didn't or won't allow me to drop it at one of our yards here in Florida. So again I get screwed another time home. Their goes my 3days off. To ALL you newbies. Your home time isn't really your Home time. Remember that and be sure you understand that they all will lie to you.

Well the time has come, since I have been out this time I have gotten 2 QC messages. The 1st one stated the next quarter if we make a profit they will give it back. The 2nd one stated that the last two months were very profitable and it looks like June will be profitable. And not to keep every ones hopes up they are looking to give our 5% back on August 1st. WWWOOOOOTTTTT!!!!

Well I went to corp office on 6/8 - 6/10 to do my Dbl/Trl training which I past easy enough. While I was with the head Operation Fleet/ Trainer Manager. We spoke about me getting into the DCS with FedEx and also becoming a trainer. Even thou they don't have a DCS in Florida he will and has pull in trying to get me in it. I know promises promises. As being a trainer I am will to go that route to not only for the $$$ but be sure that the trainees are being trained correctly. I will do it, so I had him go and speak with our log department; which he came back and stated my logs were screwed up. I was over my 11/14 and 70hrs with a few other violations. Come to realize the way my trainer tough me how to do my logs were wrong and the messed up part of it I corrected my trainer several times on how he was doing his logs were wrong. But since he had 1 exps of driving I believed him and did it his way.

Sad but I am now put on probation due to listening to my trainers dumb %$#@. But the Operation Mgr is trying to get the probation off of me due to that I was willing and he feels that since I was thought by the trainer I shouldn't be punished so harshly.

Either way no of this is on my DAC, so I am good their. I will find out if any of this will stick by the end of next week. as for my trainer he is going to be removed from being a trainer. Because they have looked his log/work history and he has been written up twice for log violations and it is showing he is still in violation.

So now I can add to my resume "Specialized in Dbl/Trpl Training"... Sweet!!

Sorry for not being online much. It is tough to find a spot where a 53 dry van can fit in.

But I finally got to get on with FedEx at Shamrock, Tx. Been here for a week and thus far I have made more money then running general freight. I actually found a great internet spot where I will be camping out when I am here. I am pulling Doubles and also pulled more Hazmat then I did when I was out running wild. Which I am getting an extra .02 cpm cents per Hazmat load. Isn't much but it's something. I have recently gotten my slave raise; was making .27 cpm and now making .30 cpm and I'm on my 7th month. By August it will be my 8th month as first seat driver.

As for our 5%, they are just going to stop taking it on August. And no their not going to refund us the 5% back; which sucks. But hey I got a job and making the crumbs.

I got a qual com message saying that in September 9th to put in for being a trainer. I have seriously thought about this and if I can stay on with FedEx I won't be doing it. If I can not stay with the FedEx run then I might think about it. But mostly I'm leaning towards not doing it either way.

There HAS TO BE A WAY to gain that back!!
On top of pathetic cpm, they took 5% of your gross weekly pay, how sad.
Might be why some drivers at PAM are simply Poor And Miserable.
---
It's GOOD you're doing something you enjoy, however DO NOT go the trainer route as it's NOT WORTH THE HASSLES and since the company has thrice times dry screwed you already (1-faulty home time, 2-poor cpm, 3- five% deduction of pay you'll not see), you'll just get screwed again in the training idea despite what they claim.
---
Just for your edification:
There was a accident with covenant transport in St. Louis, MO., last week where a TRAINEE slammed a 13' 6" trailer into a CLEARLY MARKED 12'4" Railroad Overpass. It snapped the trailer. The IDIOT ran into the Overpass while apparently not seeing the BIG YELLOW SIGN with BLACK NUMBERS. The trainee had less than a week otr.
Those type wrecks need both the trainee AND trainer FIRED since they're both incompetent!! A Accident is one thing (like a 4 wheeler running into a Combo), but a Wreck (a one vehicle deal) is clearly incompetence based and rarely of Medical reasons.
---
I hope your fare well at pam and continue to grow your list of accolades.
I hope the BEst uv WELLness 2-u-n-urs-n ALL adventures!!
I hope you comprehend what I'm posting because sometimes I wonder......or wander.

Yeah, I have put a lot of thought into being a trainer and also spoken to my wife. And also chatted with my Buddie who is here running the FedEx account. And we all decided it would be best NOT to go and do training. For what they offer: +2cpm... stop the 5%... and your miles will go UP average from 4k-6k a week. Which means your truck will run as a team. Also when your student does his/her time on your rig they will return back to corp yard and take a road test. If they pass you will receive 200.00 and if they stay with the company for 6months with no accidents you will receive another 200.00. They after 1yrs you will receive another 200.00. But all those extra 200.00 means they have to keep their lic clean.

Also far as FedEx goes, if they keep giving me 3030 per wk.. I will stay here for my remainder time with PAM; which would probably be 1yr. Unless the get the contract out in Florida. If so I will head out their. But only time can tell.
