Cancer

Postby Ole Wise Kidd on Wed Nov 25, 2009 12:57 pm

You know I have been noticing lately that a lot of people close to me are coming down with cancer. I lost my best friend this past year he was 30, and my brother-in-law is battling cancer right now he is 25. I ran into a high school friend in the store the other day, that had just found out he had it. This is just terrible, so I thought I would post so people could pray for everyone that has or knows someone with this horrible disease. Feel free to post about anyone here.

I had Testicular Cancer in '01. Major Chemo"therapy". It was either that or succumb to the disease and die quickly.
This was the same type Cancer that lance armstrong had and he was Metastatic to the Brain, yet not many People anymore care about lance for many reasons.
This type Cancer is not uncommon in Males from their 20s to 40s.

I've had Uncles die of Colon, Prostate, Pancreatic Cancers.

Like you, it seems to me that MORE and MORE People are contracting/developing various forms of Cancer and while some forms are treatable, some are not. Cancers in Females are seemingly worse than Male Cancers yet this varies with the Individuals and the Cancer.

Cancer of ANY TYPE sux and while there are worse maladies, Cancer overrides other sicknesses where treatment is concerned however this is not always the case as many medical facilities are more concerned with patients' ability to pay for services than of treating patients.

Of all the things one can wish upon another, Cancer IS NOT one of them.
I hope the BEst uv WELLness 2-u-n-urs-n ALL adventures!!
I hope you comprehend what I'm posting because sometimes I wonder......or wander.
