I am a recent driving school graduate, and I have 2 speeding tickets(15 & 21mph over) and a felony (agg. assault) in2002. Does anyone know a company that will give me a job?

Those 2 excessive speeding tickets are killing you... in addition with that agg charge its going to be very very hard to find a job, Ill bet the school you attended told you that you would get a job didnt they. The best advice I can give you would be try a local construction or log truck job, or go down to your local employment office and try to get on with a small outfit or O/O. Eventually you will qualify, but those 2 tickets are going to have to fall off and that agg charge is going to have to be older.. Good luck to you and let us know how things turn out.

Also did your school tell you that they would get you a job?? let us know

Thanks

looks like the ppl here may be able to help me.
last march i desided i wanted to start driving. i have a few heath probs but i never let them get in my way if i can help it. anyway i started by going out and geting my permit then hired a company to teach me to drive a truck. they did and i got my cdl but it was a auto. i looked every where in july i got hired with swift they saked that i go to there school to learn to shift . i agreed so off to school i go finished got with trainer and strted my training 4-5 weeks in they put me on safty hold had to sighn a statment saying no meds within 10 hrs of driving no prob. i already gave them letter from doc and was aproved by swift and the swift school. after i sent them the waiver safty was relesed and i was terminted due to a dwi i got in july of 02. not quite 5 yrs they said come back in march. now its march and re applied and have not got awnser yet when i called had to be interviewd by securiety dept. did this have not heard from sence its now april 16. i have also tried other componies but for some reason i will get as for as the dwi and no more calls. is there a companie or some one that will hire me. or should i just hang it up and try somthing else.

Its not just you, swift is going threw some tough times right now... You need to at least keep trying them until you have been told you are not going to be hired.. Give me a call at 870-216-0096 and I will shoot my contact at swift an email and see what the hold up is ... maybe I can get somthing done for you!

And as always... WELCOME TO THE FORUM !!! we are glad to have you !
