Fuel Prices

Postby Ole Wise Kidd on Tue Mar 18, 2008 2:54 pm

How in the wide world of sports are O/O making it right now. Fuel prices are simply ridiculous, I just got a report on a surcharge of .46 CPM that is the highest I have ever seen it.. I wish everyone could pull together and just stop driving for a week and force these oil companies to drop prices, it is really starting to get out of hand.

I have been contacted by a couple of other sites who are proposing a movement among the O/O's for April of this year. This type of thing has been discussed before, I know. But it doesn't mean that if enough drivers got the word that it couldn't actually cause NOTICE.

We at DieselBoss definately agree with the concept that if the government were to temporarily suspend the fuel tax and the shippers/carriers were to pass that one to the consumer, there would indeed be a clear positive impact on the economy.

The challenge lies in organizing and following through with promises.
