Dac Reports

Postby Ole Wise Kidd on Fri Feb 22, 2008 11:06 pm

I hear stories all the time about companies putting incorrect information on a drivers report. The sad thing about DAC is they only go by what companies tell them and drivers cant get negative entries removed. Most drivers dont know this but you can go in and rebuttal what a company puts on your report. I am starting this forum to help resolve or at least find an easy way for drivers to access thier DAC reports. Driver input would be greatly appriciated!

In '08 I had some negative info on me DAC/USIS file/record which I'm sure was a main catalyst for why I wasn't being considered or why I was rejected from Trucking companies.
I acquired the requisite forms online, filled them in and with other documentation as is required EVERY TIME one contacts dac/usis, I received an updated copy with the correct info.

I am to request another copy to see what might be wrong as it has been just over 1 year.
I hope the BEst uv WELLness 2-u-n-urs-n ALL adventures!!
I hope you comprehend what I'm posting because sometimes I wonder......or wander.

The company DACFIX contacted me a couple months ago about adding them to my site, I was always leery of companies like this, but I got some references from drivers, and they are really worth the couple hundred bucks to get incorrect stuff off DAC reports. Since I added them they have helped a few drivers get stuff removed. The people over there are very up front and honest, and have lots of experience when it comes to dealing with DAC Services. Now keep in mind if there is negative info that is SUPPOSED to be there, like a failed drug screen , then they cant get it removed, but if a company intentionally sabotaged your DAC report ( which happens quite often ) they can really be a lifeline. I also requested that if they were going to advertise with me, that I would ad a topic just for them to the message board where drivers can go and ask questions directly to thier staff.
