WHY IS IT that these newbie drivers are NOT TAUGHT how to use the 4 way Flashers when parked on the sides of Interstates, Highways, Roads, etc.??
WHY do these newbies not know how to engage their 4 way flashers when BACKING UP ANYWHERE??
WHY do these newbies not know HOW to engage their Differential Lock when stuck on slippery surfaces??
WHY is it that these newbies KNOW NOTHING about how to check Air Pressures in Tires??
WHY is it that these newbies cannot discern the difference between a trailer that is too high to connect or too low to connect??
WHAT is the reason or WHAT are the reasons??
INCOMPETENT TRAINERS or just INCOMPETENCE OVERALL??
HOW MANY of these newbie drivers are actually BLIND since they cannot use their LOW BEAM headlights??
WHY IS IT that MANY newbies as well as veteran drivers feel the incessant need to use those annoying driving lights at Night??

These newbies and many veteran drivers are the reasons that trucking is sliding quickly down the muddy hills of ignorance into the abyss of blindness.
IF these newbies could actually acquire some decent training (not from another lost trainee with 6 months road time), WE THE TRUCKERS might have a better environment in which to learn and earn and not be suffering at the hands of the under trained/under educated that provide US such glorious sites as Rollovers, Explosions, Burning Wrecks, Fog Crashes, etc., ad infinitum.

Until such a time is presented, and may never appear, WE are doomed to suffer the rewards of the incompetent Truckers..then there are the dispatchers, load planners, customer service personel, for another post...end of line

ALSO, JB DRIVERS TRYING TO PASS SWIFT OR SCHNIEDER OR VICE VERSA...... DAMN ONE OF YOU SPEED UP OR SLOW DOWN TO LET THE OTHER ONE BY!!!! NO ONE WANTS TO SIT BEHIND 2 GOVERNED TRUCKS TRYING TO PASS EACH OTHER.... COMMON SENSE FOLKS ... COMMON SENSE GEEEEZ!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND THE LEFT LANE IS FOR PASSING !!!!!! NOT FOR SIGHTSEEING

Most of the time it has to do how they were trained. A lot of trainers train their trainees as easy money spawns. And they don't show them the correct way of doing things. But I can say I have seen veterans as well NEVER putting on their 4-ways as well. Or never putting on their turning signals.

True but you shouldnt have to be trained to know that the left lane is for passing.... ... man that just grinds my gears !!!! lol

That's been going on for years Mate as I've in the Granny lanes, passed MANY Combos just aimlessly or amiably wandering along in the Hammer lanes.
It seemed to be in '08 like it was growing and it (my assumption) appeared to be correct, and daily is confirmed.

Trainees training trainees was and will continue to NEVER BE a good idea.
Trainers with at least 2 years OTR, some aren't worth their salt and should not be trainers for they obviously know nothing important or have anything worthy of passing along.

Lol... I have been thinking after my 6months with my company I have the ability to go and become a trainer... Funny that you stated:
