USA CDL JOBS TRUCK DRIVER FORUM

I have applied to so many companies only to be told. NO!
I am trying to support wife, 4yr old and a 12yr old. I have a mortage, car payment. I have been out of work since December of 2008. The company I was with cut my loads and miles to where I was only bringing home approx $250 a week and was driving in my personal vehicle 2 hrs to work and 2 hrs home at the end of the week.
I have 2 speeding tickets since 06, and one preventable accident in June of 2008 that was not DOT recordable. No tickets were issued but I cannot seem to find a job and I am about ready to lose not only my home but my family as well. My wife is about at her wits end. I have been working odd jobs painting, general contruction just to make some extra income to help pay bills. We are living on basic necessities no frills at all. Wife is about ready to let her van be repoed as it is one less bill we have to worry about. My family not to mention my pride means alot to me! I have been driving a truck for over 20 years! I just NEED A JOB!

A lot of people are in your situation, this website for example, I spent a lot of time and made really good money helping people find jobs, but now i do it for free because we lost all of our contracts... where do you live and what companies have you applied to so far?
